Activities related to the care of environment

ECOLOGY

Currently, we are working on the last section of the planned activities in our project, things related to the care of the Environment. For that reason, during the months of May and June children will carry out activities surrounding these three International Days:

*World Earth Day(22nd April)

*World Environment Day( 4th June)

*World Ocean Day (8th June)

Students have done leaflets about ecological issues, booklets called 'My environment' which contain pictures and information about the school trips and some classes have created machines using recycled materials from their homes. Children have participated in several campaigns in order to become aware of the care our planet for example, they have collected batteries, cleaned the playground and recycled paper.

Outside of Tartessos they have cleaned up after themselves on school trips and respected wildlife.  

ECOLOGÍA

Actualmente trabajamos el último bloque de los propuestos en nuestro Proyecto, temas relacionados  con el cuidado del MEDIO. Para ello, durante los meses de Mayo y Junio se realizarán las actividades
 programadas, vertebradas por tres Días Internacionales:

*Día del Planeta Tierrra(22 de abril)

*Día del Medio Ambiente(4 de Junio)

*Día del Océano(8 de junio)

Los alumnos han realizado y participado en Campañas de Reciclaje, recogida de pilas, limpieza de patios y del campo en las excursiones hechas. Donde han limpiado después los espacios transitados y respetado el medio de vida salvaje. Además, han creado anuncios y folletos sobre aspectos ecológicos, así como unos “cuadernillos” donde han recogido muestras y ejemplos varios de animales y plantas de los lugares visitados en el ámbito natural. También han hecho máquinas simples con materiales reciclados de sus casas.

Book Day II

INTERNATIONAL BOOK DAY 23rd

 APRIL.

We have celebrated Book Day with a whole week with a great variety of activities such as a play performed by our students mothers 'Saint George and the Dragon'.

Children have read the work 'Platero y yo' by Juan Ramón Jiménez and them they ilustrated it.
Students have seen anadaptation  of the some work by a theatre group and, finally the have performed some different plays.

Celebramos el Día del Libro con una semana de actividades muy diversas: representaciones teatrales en las que las madres han escenificado San Jorge y el Dragón, los niños han leído "Platero y yo", de Juan Ramón Jiménez, la han ilustrado. Además, han visto una adptación de la misma en una sala de teatro, puesta en escena por un grupo profesional. Los alumnos han hecho también distintas representaciones de esta obra.
